Middeleeuwen

De middeleeuwen (van ca. 500 tot ca. 1500) vormen, in de historiografische indeling of periodisering van de geschiedenis van Europa, de periode tussen de klassieke oudheid en de vroegmoderne tijd.

Na een eerste poging om passende titels te vinden die bij het thema middeleeuwen horen waren de meeste tracks vaak bombastisch. Muziek die je kent uit films als The Hobbit en een Lord of the Rings serie. En dat terwijl ik graag Soul, blues of funk wil horen. Dat laatste is gelukt.

Niet alleen kastelen, stoere ridders en fraaie jonkvrouwen, maar ook: vieze, ongewassen mensen die dan ook vroeg sterven, de smid, kruistochten zoals bevolen door de almachtige kerk, geneeskunst door aderlaten met bloedzuigers, bijgeloof in het algemeen en de angst om van de platte aarde af te vallen, heksenjachten, bedelaars, de schandpaal, boogschutters, de pest en natuurlijk – de galg.

Narcistische avond (Me Myself and I)

Een Narcistische Muziekavond – Me, Myself & I draait volledig om ego, zelfliefde en grootheidsgevoel.
